  •  May 08, 2017

On Friday May 5 LISA Academy North welcomed Congressman French Hill.  He spoke to our high school students about all of the exciting new projects happening in the central Arkansas area, but how we can do more to start innovative businesses here in Arkansas. Congressman Hill honored two students for outstanding volunteer hours senior Yahya Suid and junior Marti Boren.  Both received congressional recognition for their great achievements.  Following his speech Congressman Hill was treated to several special exhibits; STEM demonstrations, solar car tour, and elementary robotics demonstration.  We appreciated his time and devotion to education and hope he can return soon.
